WHERE OUR DATA COMES FROM

🗺️ OpenStreetMap

The majority of our shop listings are sourced from OpenStreetMap, a collaborative mapping project. OSM data is contributed by volunteers worldwide and is available under the Open Database License (ODbL).

👥 User Submissions

Community members can submit new listings and suggest edits to existing ones. All user-submitted data is reviewed before being published.

✅ Verified Listings

Shop owners can claim their listings to verify and update their information directly. Verified listings are marked with a special indicator.

🌐 Permitted External Sources

We may collect data from external websites ONLY when:

✓ The site's robots.txt explicitly allows our crawler
✓ The Terms of Service permit automated access
✓ We have explicit permission from the site owner
✓ We only extract factual listing data (no reviews, photos, or descriptions)

We respect rate limits and include proper attribution for all external sources.

📊 DATA WE COLLECT

For each shop, we store only factual, publicly available information:

✓ Business name

✓ Phone number

✓ Address and location coordinates

✓ Website URL

✓ Business hours

✓ Categories/tags (e.g., "comics", "manga", "cards")

⚠️ We do NOT collect or store reviews, ratings, photos, or marketing descriptions from third-party sources.
